Biography:

A gambler in every sense of the word, Ted Forrest has been seen in cardrooms and casinos for more than twenty years. He's honed his skills to a fine art, performing many hours simply simulating thousands of different hands against different play styles. It's this level of dedication that has netted him three shining gold World Series of Poker bracelets in a single year in 1993, and two more in later WSOP events for a total of five coveted bracelets.

His gambling prowess is not simply limited to cards, though. Ted's a known craps player and he also spends big money just backing his fellow poker professionals. Ted has backed more players than any other player in the business, earning him the unofficial title, "The Businessman of Poker." Business, though, is not where his gambling ends! Ted will take a bet on just about anything if the price is right.

He won $10,000 at a WSOP event when someone bet that he could not do a standing backflip. He raked in another $7,000 when someone bet him that he wouldn't run a marathon on the hottest day of the year in Las Vegas - it was 115 degrees. He has lost money on such bets, too, when he tore a chest muscle trying to fulfill a bet that he couldn't bench press 225 pounds 50 times in one day.
